Delaware Adopts S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2009 Rules

Delaware adopted S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act rules. The rules set forth the surety bond amounts required for licensing, mandate the use of the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) for licensing; and establish procedures for making up a deficiency in continuing education. The adopted rules also amend provisions with respect to fees, examinations, notifications and office requirements. The rules become effective December 11, 2009.
