Fannie Mae extended the expiration date of the DU Refi Plus program and the Refi Plus program. The new expiration date is September 30, 2017 (rather than December 1, 2016). Pursuant to the extension, mortgage loans must now have application dates on or before September 30, 2017; and whole loans must be purchased by Fannie Mae on or before June 30, 2018 (or in MBS pools with issue dates on or before June 1, 2018).
