RHS revised chapters 12, 17, 18 and Appendix 5 of the Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program Technical Handbook (HB-1-3555). The updates to chapter 12 pertain to property and appraisal requirements. The updates to chapter 17 pertain to the servicing of performing loans. The updates to chapter 18 pertain to the servicing of non-performing loans (accounts with repayment problems). The updates to Appendix 5 provide updated income limits for Section 502 Guaranteed Loan Programs. The updates went into effect May 17, 2017.
