Fannie Mae issued Lender Letter LL-2017-03, requiring lenders and servicers to temporarily suspend foreclosure activities with respect to borrowers affected by Hurricane Harvey. Effective immediately, lenders and servicers must suspend any foreclosure sale on a property located within a FEMA-declared disaster area eligible for Individual Assistance as a result of Hurricane Harvey. The foreclosure activities must be suspended for 90 days from the date the disaster is declared.
