Oklahoma passed a bill enacting the Uniform Power of Attorney Act. The Uniform Power of Attorney Act is modeled upon the Uniform Power of Attorney Act drafted and approved by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws. The bill also repeals the Uniform Durable Power of Attorney Act. The bill becomes effective November 1, 2021.
