FHA issued Mortgagee Letter 2021-14, extending the implementation date of the April 19, 2021 publication of the Single Family Housing Policy Handbook (Handbook 4000.1). Per the Mortgagee Letter, the changes to Handbook 4000.1 must be implemented no later than March 31, 2022. Previously, the changes were required to be implemented no later than August 17, 2021.
