Rhode Island passed a bill enacting the Uniform Law on Notarial Acts. The Uniform Law on Notarial Acts is modeled upon the Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts proposed by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Law. The bill becomes effective January 1, 2019.
