RHS announced a 60-day moratorium on foreclosures and evictions in connection with the Presidentially-declared COVID-19 National Emergency. The moratorium suspends the initiation of all new foreclosure actions as well as all foreclosure actions currently in process. In addition, all evictions of persons from properties secured by USDA guaranteed loans are suspended for 60 days. The moratorium on foreclosures and evictions is effective immediately.
