Fannie Mae issued Servicing Guide Announcement SVC-2023-01 (Announcement), setting forth updates to the Servicing Guide. Per the Announcement, Fannie Mae:
- Clarified reimbursement requirements for electronic filing and recording expenses in connection with legal proceedings;
- Incorporated the minimum financial requirements described in Lender Letter LL-2022-04;
- Updated the Allowable Foreclosure Attorney Fees Exhibit to reflect the correct Louisiana judicial foreclosure fee of $2,700; and
- Removed announcements published prior to 2018 from the Related Announcements list.
The revisions went into effect March 8, 2023.
