Fannie Mae revised the Texas Home Equity Security Instrument Form (Form 3044.1). The revision to the Texas Home Equity Security Instrument removes language in the “Transfer of Rights” section and in Paragraph 12. The revision only applies to the recently modified forms (with a footer date of 07/2021 or later). The changes are effective January 1, 2023 (however, lenders may implement the changes immediately).
