Tennessee Revises Notice of Sale Requirements

Tennessee passed a bill revising Notice of Sale requirements in connection with a foreclosure. Under the bill, when a Notice of Sale cannot be published in a newspaper, a posting online by a 3rd party internet posting company must be published. The posting online by the 3rd-party internet posting company must be posted online for at least 20 continuous days. Also, when a Notice of Sale cannot be published in a newspaper, the Notice of Sale must identify the website of the 3rd-party internet posting company publishing the Notice of Sale. The bill becomes effective July 1, 2025.
