VA issued Circular 26-23-08 to extend the date through which a borrower can request a COVID-19 related forbearance. Per the Circular, VA extended the period during which a borrower may request a COVID-related forbearance until May 31, 2023. The changes announced in the Circular are effective April 21, 2023.
