Oklahoma Amends Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act and Uniform Consumer Credit Code

Oklahoma adopted rules amending the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act and the Uniform Consumer Credit Code. Under the adopted rules, certain fees for mortgage brokers and mortgage loan originators were revoked (as the fees have been supplanted by statute) and certain requirements for mortgage broker branch offices and mortgage lender branch offices were revoked (as the requirements have been supplanted by statute). The rule adoption becomes effective July 11, 2026.
