RHS issued a Procedure Notice (Notice) announcing an amendment to chapter 8 of the SFH Guaranteed Loan Program Technical Handbook (HB-1-3555). Chapter 8 pertains to applicant characteristics and was amended to remove a reference to the waiver for acceptable citizenship or immigration status (which has been rescinded). The amendment to chapter 8 became effective April 25, 2025.
